Thanksgiving Giveaway Scheduled For Saturday In Gwinnett County

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Gwinnett County Solicitor-General Brian Whiteside and his staff will join others in giving back this holiday season. Volunteers will distribute boxes of fresh food to families in need Saturday. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. people are welcome to drop by Life Chapel Church's annual Thanksgiving Giveaway. The church is located at 1705 Belle Meade Court in Lawrenceville. "Childhood hunger and food insecurity can present significant challenges for local families," said Whiteside. "We invite the public to join us and give back to their community this holiday season."
