Shipping and Receiving FULL-TIME $18/hr 9730 Alden St, Lenexa, KS 66215 "Job Description: $34,280 To $49,240 Annual Pay" The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for performing a variety of shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision. The shipping and receiving clerk will verify the order to match the received materials and prepare the items for proper shipment. Duties include: - Reading shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed. - Ensuring the accuracy of all shipping documents, gathering and maintaining all data relative to shipping activities. - Collecting all documentation for outboard freight and route to the proper record-keeping unit. - Picking orders for shipment and assembling various types of merchandise to be shipped. - Scheduling inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. - Contacting carrier representative to make arrangements and issue instructions for loading products. - Operating equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, pallet jacks and more safely and efficiently. - Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized work environment. - Keeping an equipment checklist and performing preventative maintenance of equipment. Schedule - Shift start: 6:00AM - Shift length: 9 hours - Days: Monday - Friday, alternate Saturday Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 90 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - At least 1 year of warehouse experience - At least 1 year of forklift operating - Must be at least 21+ years old - Can lift 50 lbs About M S International, Inc.
