ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work alongside Operations staff helping to prepare remote camp equipment for the upcoming field season. This will include cleaning/restocking/repairing/assessing for damages various items including shelters, appliances, tools, freshwater & graywater systems, incinerators, larger kW gensets, electrical bear fencing, facilities systems, vehicles, etc. As your familiarity with the different equipment/components increases so will advancement opportunities, and field work opportunities. Field work may include Davis Bacon or state prevailing wage opportunities. EQUIPMENT USED: Delivery vehicles (trucks, vans), forklifts, articulating wheel loaders, hand trucks, pallet jacks, a variety of dollies. EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred. CERTIFICATES and LICENCES: Valid State Driver License required, CDL preferred. MSHA training preferred. EXPERIENCE: Experience in a warehouse/shop/yard environment preferred. Forklift experience preferred. SKILLS: Basic reading and math skills required. ABILITIES: Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly, from floor to chest level without injury. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to understand and perform tasks as assigned. Able to drive and move materials in pickup trucks in a safe and proficient manner. Learn and operate forklifts in a safe and proficient manner. Able to work in small teams and alone often-self directing, and motivated. KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of light construction, hand tool use, shipping/receiving, loading/unloading, storage operations, cleaning, sanitizing, and inventory control preferred. PRE-HIRE DRUG TESTING: Must pass a drug test COMPENSATION: Hourly wages DOE, overtime opportunities, relaxed work environment with a professional team. If selected for field work accommodations, meals, transportation depending on hire location. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1600
