Great Job Opportunity!!! 1st shift maintenance Utility Operator at a Grease Pumping Business located in The city of Chula Vista! Direct Hire!! Work Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 Pm - Monday - Friday This candidate will provide adequate maintenance to help operate a plant that processes inedible kitchen grease and spent cooking oil. Will work on separating, processing and disposing of multiple components. Employee will work with the contents of grease traps, waste water compressed air, general production, utilities and facilities related equipment to efficiently meet quality standards and production daily requirements. Essential Duties: • Responsible for performing jobs tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Efficiently operates and maintains • processing tanks, pumps, boiler, wastewater, water re-circulation, in a good and constant operating condition. • Records utilities meter readings, issues, completed activities and important information in the daily log book. • Operates, lubricates, inspects and maintains utilities pumps in good condition. • Initiates production and facility equipment for daily plant production and processing. • Promptly attends to a breakdown or malfunction. • May perform some pip fitting, welding and other maintenance and repairs for various metals and materials. • Responsible for maintaining equipment parts, tools, oil/grease barrels clean, orderly and stored in the right locations. • Installs new equipment as required. • Works from manufacturer's manuals and specifications to keep equipment and machinery in proper working condition. Ensures the preventive maintenance (PM) program is followed and tasks are completed as scheduled. • Ensures all preventive and corrective maintenance activities are properly documented and good working • relationship with other areas and the entire maintenance team is maintained. • Cleans boilers for routine inspections. • Must be responsible, hardworking individual. • Spanish speaking a plus • We will train. *******This is a hands on dirty job******
