Description

EARN WHILE YOU LEARN!! Become a Plumber Apprentice. What do plumbers do?... Plumbers assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures, water heaters, water and drainage systems in both commercial and residential buildings. They are great puzzle-solvers that are able to trace leaks and other problems to the source in order to help systems operate smoothly. Plumbers use different hand tools, materials and fittings, read blueprints, follow specifications, follow city and county codes and state disability standards. They solder and silver braze copper pipe, drill, trench, lift heavy materials, work on ladders and in confined spaces. Plumbers can work indoors and outdoors in all sorts of weather. They can work installing new fixtures or doing service calls to fix existing plumbing in homes or businesses. Why become a Plumber?.. Job security: There are job opportunities for plumbers all over the US. Plumbers won’t lose their jobs to machines. Make a good living: Plumbers are in high demand and make excellent money. Take pride in your career. The skilled trades build communities. What is an apprenticeship?.. Apprenticeship is sometimes called the “other” four-year degree. But unlike most college programs, apprenticeship offers the chance to learn a skilled trade through a combination of related classroom instruction and paid- on-the-job-training. Apprentices work under the guidance of a journey-level worker on real job sites, gradually earning more responsibilities as they learn more. The more they learn, the more they earn! Apprenticeship is the start of a great, family-wage career you can take pride in. Contact for more information..
