So here's the whole truth. He is 5 years old and neutered (score), he is litter box trained (needs two), he has always been inside as we have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He weighs about 22 pounds so he is a fantastic conversation piece. He's a jerk! He terrorizes our dog who is old and has bad hips and has to try to run away from him. He plots revenge at any chance he gets. He has certain people that he "likes" (ie. accepts as well as any cat would) and that would be my husband and son. He has people he doesn't always like and will take out anger on them and that usually is a claw in a foot as we walk by him. There are certain folks who stop by and he just stalks and hates..... And he isn't always bad....truthfully. But we have to think of our geriatric dog, etc. The positives....when he lays on you, he is cheaper (and heavier) than an electric blanket, he is a great mouser, he is a pro at catching and eating flies and spiders. Truthfully, it would take a very special person to take in Duke Sunday and I don't know if we will find that person. My daughter does reserve the right to interview that very special person because she does love him and did make this very difficult decision. Asking $20 for him, because even though I have a great hatred for him..I don't want him to go to someone that will use him for something horrible. He just needs the right home.
