Essential Duties for Fleet and Equipment Mechanic: A professional, experienced diesel mechanic for our quickly growing company. With initial mentoring, independently perform services, BIT Inspections, complex troubleshoot and diagnosing, and maintain equipment. Basic knowledge of parts ordering. Clean and safe work environment. Welding is a huge plus (training available). Essential Duties for Lube Tech: Basic services on fleet equipment/trucks. Basic troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of parts ordering and organization for services. Clean and safe work environment. Basic Requirements for both Fleet and Equipment Mechanic and Lube Tech: 2-5 years preferred experience with this line of work. Must have a clean DMV (no more than 1 point on record, no suspensions, failures to appear, etc.). Must be capable of lifting up to 100 lbs. Must be able to write legibly to complete work orders and other required paperwork. Must be able to read and comprehend maintenance manuals. Must be able to operate a cell-phone with a timesheet app in a professional manner. Ability to perform 90 Day and Annual Vehicle Inspections to comply with CHP and DOT regulations.
