Description

Performs semi-skilled, skilled, and administrative work in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, shafts, rollers, etc. Supervision Received Works under the direct supervision of a foreman. Duties • Disassemble of rotating equipment under supervision • Sandblasting/painting • Troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment under supervision • Reassemble of equipment and installing equipment under supervision • Fill out checklist and inspection reports • Assist other senior mechanics • Requirements • Mechanically inclined • Industrial shop atmosphere • Mechanical experience preferred.
