JOB DESCRIPTION: Diesel mechanics is responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered vehicles. Your duties include running diagnostic tests on vehicles, test driving vehicles to gauge performance and maintaining detailed records of the vehicles you have serviced. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines *Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes *Interprets diagnostic test results accurately *Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans *Collaborates with other diesel mechanics *Presents reports *Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly *Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely *Follows all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: *Collaborates with other diesel mechanics and has strong interpersonal skills *Demonstrates time management, organization, and problem-solving skills EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: *A high school diploma or equivalent is required *An associate degree in diesel technology or completion of a traineeship is required *At least 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic is required (COMPENSATION WILL BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW AND IT'S BASED ON EXPERIENCE) (RECOMPENZA ES BASADA EN EXPERIENCIA Y CONFIRMADO EN LA ENTREVISTA) If interested please come and apply at the office located at 4529 Osborne Dr. Ste A, El Paso, TX 79922 Si quiere aplicar para la posicion por favor de venir a la oficina localizada en 4529 Osborne Dr. Ste A, El Paso, TX 79922
