Part-time shop worker wanted in South Minneapolis fabrication shop. Basic woodworking and/or metal skills are a bonus, but a willingness to learn is more important. Think of it like a paid internship. To start you will be helping our shop managers with ongoing projects, maintaining the shop, clean shop (sweep, empty trash, etc), loading/unloading trucks, basic painting, degreasing metal, etc. In our shop we do a lot of artistic fabrication. We are more than willing to teach the right person woodworking, welding, metal fabrication as we move along. We have some bigger projects coming up and need some seasonal help. Must have reliable transportation and a driver’s license. Ability to lift 30+ pounds. This is a manual labor job. Must provide proof of vaccination to Co-vid 19. Shop hours are 10am to 4pm Monday – Thursday with the possibility of Fridays. Pay starts at $17 and can raise quickly if we have a good fit.
