Description
I have 3 juvenile male rats that I need to rehome as PETS!
I am SEVERELY allergic.
All three must be adopted together
If you need a cage I am happy to include mine
I am willing to take them back if it doesn’t work out I just want everyone to have a rewarding experience
My ideal candidate would be a individual who is familiar with rats, but everyone has to be the first…so I am open.
Do you have questions? I will start.
Are rats good pets because EWWWWW!
Well actually they are lovely pets. And I would argue a great starter pet because one can actually interact with them. They are wicked smart, can be affectionate and trained to do tricks. I saw some amazing YouTube videos.
My rats currently live on a table. I open their door in the a.m. and close it in the p.m. AFTER a head count of course. I have that luxury because I have no children and no other pets, so they are safe. I have big plastic storage boxes around the table to catch them if they fall.
Do rats cuddle?…yes …they can. I had a rat who was quite at home on my shoulder. These juveniles don’t love being picked up..YET. with my allergies it has been difficult for the both of us. A big plus about these brothers is they don’t bite. I have adopted some biters before…so yay for non-biters.
