This unique job involves using primarily high-powered lasers at a shopping center site to guard, deter, and repel migratory bird flocks from landing and roosting in trees overnight. Each shift is only 1.25 hours per night starting at dusk, which is 5:30pm currently. Each shift pays $35. Paydays are every other Friday. Work days are 5 evenings in a row per week initially, then down to 3 evenings in a row per week. You can choose which days per week, as long as they are consecutive days and that they stay consistent. This temporary job will last about 2 months. This is a perfect seasonal job for someone looking to make some easy extra money. Requirements: No felony convictions or pending cases. No drugs or alcohol in your system at work times. Be on time precisely at dusk each day. Must stay attentive and focused and actively looking for bird flocks and then repelling them. Must be able to communicate in fluent English in order to answer questions by a very curious general public. It is a job that may bring attention to you, so you must be able to stay focused on your job. The lasers are not harmful to humans or animals in normal circumstances. There will be brisk walking involved during the shift, so please be able to handle the physical demand. Birds are in no way harmed during the abatement process. Serious applicants only.
