Job Description:
The position is responsible for general custodial and light maintenance duties throughout the community.
Other duties may include:
Assist with event preparation set-up, cleanliness and tear down of community events, cleanliness of common areas; some weekend work but will maintain the 40-hour week.
Empty trash receptacles and dog station throughout community and inspect for general cleanliness of common areas.
Repair minor electrical issues, i.e., light bulbs, switches, etc.
Clean and stock amenity centers.
Repair minor plumbing problems, i.e., unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, including leaky faucets and toilets.
Assume additional and special duties assigned or required to maintain cleanliness and safety of Association buildings and grounds.
Keep staff members informed of the status of equipment and maintenance needed on the property.
Work week/month to be discussed and agreed upon by Community Manager and Employee and based on community needs.
Tasks and responsibilities listed are not the only ones applicable to the position, perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Education/Experience/Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess general maintenance/handyman skills: Use of basic tools and provide own basic tools.
Must have dependable transportation, clean driving record and must be able to pass a background check.
