It breaks my heart to do this, but I'm looking to rehome my cat Sabrina to a home where she can be the only cat. She's 2-3 years old. She's literally the most lovey cat and she's super sweet to every human I've met. She will climb right into a strangers lap. She loves to lay in your lap and pretty much never stops purring when she's getting attention. She loves playing with toys but even when she's hyper she will stop and purr while you pet her. She runs right up and starts to purr as soon as I get home from work. I've also never had any problems with her using the litter box. However, she won't stop attacking my dog, who I've had way longer. Even if my dog tries to stay out of the way, Sabrina will literally hunt her. I have no idea how she is with other cats but considering how she is to my dog I would not want to test it. Additionally, when I got her I was living with my now ex partner and we were on different work schedules, and now that it's just me working outside of the house full time, I just do not think she's getting the attention she needs. She has been an indoor cat because the area I'm in has a lot of coyotes and I'm rarely home/awake during the day since I work evenings and nights, but I think she would do fine in an indoor or indoor/outdoor home. I tried to talk to the SWHS about taking her back but it seems like they're not accepting surrenders at this time. Please only email me if you are allowed to have a cat where you are living and are willing to pay the pet deposit or get an emotional support pet letter through a therapist. She would make a wonderful emotional support cat, as long as she's the only pet. Obviously I'd prefer to get her into a happier situation ASAP, but I will be making sure she is going to a loving home.
