VP-Maintenance is are currently seeking a dedicated, self-motivated and energetic FULL-TIME DAY PORTER for our Maintenance team. This is a family owned and operated company that has been providing unparalleled service to the Phoenix metropolitan area. We have a reputation for quality customer service, attention to detail and integrity. Basic Function- Provide exterior cleaning and trash removal from commercial facilities throughout the valley. Individual must be able to perform with minimum supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must have a valid driver license and your own Reliable Vehicle for transportation to and from the daily worksites. Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted on provided checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter and debris is removed from all areas of the facility. Empty and clean all trash urns and waste receptacles. Dust all exterior window sills, ledges, directory signs and mailboxes (monthly). Clean dumpster areas and keep free of debris and excess waste. Pick up trash & debris along all walks, parking areas and parking islands. Check conditions of safety items, such as gate arms to ensure clearance bars are secure. Report any unknown, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager in a timely manner. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive and remain in uniform before and during scheduled shifts. Requirements: High School Diploma, equivalency or combination of experience and education Porter experience a plus. Valid Arizona state Driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record. Must have RELIABLE transportation. Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, including daily work orders in the English language. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to lift over 50lbs. Maintains a positive attitude and responds to requests for service and assistance.
