Busy little local Doggie Day Care and Boarding center looking for part-time dog care attendants. Job duties include supervising play groups, feeding & cleaning up after large groups of free-roaming dogs in our indoor play rooms. This is an active and dirty job. Surprisingly "must love dogs" is not the first requirement :). Prior dog-related work experience is a plus, and attendants must be comfortable around all breeds and sizes of dogs. Cleaning and standing on your feet for long periods of time required. We are looking for reliable, responsible, hard-working team players. If you are willing to work hard and want to spend your day with dogs, this job is for you. Attendants must be able to read dog body language (training provided), and take care of dogs in large free-roaming packs. Must be able to memorize large numbers of details regarding individual dogs. Position is 16 - 32 hours per week. Weekends and Holidays are absolutely required. We are a 24-hour staffed center, and staff members are scheduled between the hours of 6:30am - 10:00pm, and at times overnight shifts.
