Rehoming - Kitten

Description

My husband and I found a little stray kitten (Andy) about 3 weeks ago. We took him in with the hopes that he would be part of our family but unfortunately we have two male cats that refuse to accept him. Andy has come a very long way in these three weeks; he’s gained weight, become more comfortable with people and dogs, and and potty trained. He is the sweetest, most affectionate cat I’ve ever owned. The vet says he is perfectly healthy, about 9-10 months old, and came back negative for feline leukemia. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He does not have a microchip. I hope to find a good home for Andy. As he was a stray, he is still shy and skittish at times but I know that will dissipate with the right person or family. He will definitely need someone patient, kind, and affectionate. I don’t think he would be good around small children but he would likely be ok with a gentle, older child. He is ok with dogs once he warms up to them and he seems fine with cats as long as they are ok with him. There will not be a rehoming fee but we absolutely want to make sure he goes to the best possible home. I’ve grown incredibly attached to this sweet kitten so this decision will not be made lightly. Thank you in advance!
