Hello. I am looking to buy small lots in populated areas to bring some green to the neighborhoods! I’d like to plant small fruit/vegetable and butterfly flower gardens with the communities involvement, especially children. Many children do not have yard space, and this will give them an opportunity to get their hands dirty and learn how to garden. It can be a chain reaction in the surrounding areas to beautify NY and after the neighborhoods hard work, there will be fresh produce for them to enjoy. I’d like it usable as well as a nice meeting location for possible craft sessions for kids, nice yoga setting, or set up a mini gyms with a track around the lot. Any ideas and input would be great. With this being said I am asking for a few things! I am asking for donations. I have some of my own funds to get started with my first lot, but I’d like to make this a small, but spread out, big thing! Or possibly connect with people of the same passion, combine ideas and get others to get on board. Meaning do your own lot, but we can go under the same ‘name’. In the spring I could use some vegetable seeds, bulbs, fruit trees and fruit bushes. If you are a business, I will put your name on the lot. If you are a person, you can put your name if you like. I’d like to put the names carved into stone or burned into wood and be a part of the garden in some way, whether it be a wall of some sort, or in a pathway through the garden, or on some boulders.
