Responsibilities • Ship outgoing shipments which includes: preparing shipments, moving shipments, labeling shipments, building boxes for shipments, operating the pallet jack, printing paperwork. • Ensure accuracy and condition of shipments by inspecting material/parts set for shipments. • Ensure complete orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner. • Order materials • Supervise and lead shipping department; report to management on activities and issues • Monitor, enforce and suggest improvement to shipping procedures. Qualifications • Proven experience as Shipping Manager • Must be able to walk and stand for long hours • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs • Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates • Strong work ethic, attention to detail • Exceptional organizational and communication skills • High school diploma; BSc/BA in supply chain, logistics or relative field is a definite plus What We Offer • Salary: $45-55k per year • Full health and transit benefits 1-2 months after start date, fully paid for by the company • 10 business days (2 weeks) accrued paid time off • Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6:30pm Please make sure to attach a copy of your resume.
