Our next bottle release of 2021 features a brand new Double Barrel variant of Medianoche and a BIG Barleywine, in collab with Side Project. Double Barrel Medianoche: Cognac The latest iteration in our Double Barrel Medianoche series began with a special Rye Medianoche base recipe, incorporating caramel rye, chocolate rye and malted rye into the mash bill. For the first round of aging, we rested the beer in freshly emptied 5-year MGP high-rye (36% rye) bourbon barrels for 15 months. To complement the unique notes imparted by the rye malt and high-rye bourbon barrels, we aged this batch for an additional 8 months in freshly emptied Cognac casks imported directly from France, coopered from medium plus toast French Limousin oak (Quercus robur), known for its unique expression of citrus and baking spices. After a combined 23 months of aging, the final blend expresses notes of French hot chocolate, salted caramels, milk chocolate orange balls, cinnamon crumb coffee cake, and candied pecans. Available in 500 mL bottles to-go for $28 each, limit 2 per person Coconut Symposium (Barrel Aged Barleywine - collab w/Side Project Brewing) English-style Barleywine aged in 5-7 year-old bourbon barrels for 25 months, then conditioned on raw and toasted coconut Available in 500 mL bottles to-go for $28 each, limit 1 per person Both bottles will be available exclusively through Eventbrite. Tickets must be exchanged for bottles in person at the brewery between Friday, November 19 and Sunday, November 28, during taproom hours. Tickets will go on sale promptly at 6:00 PM MST on Thursday, November 18. Be sure to read all of the details below before purchasing tickets! Ticket Details Individuals must be 21 or older to purchase tickets, as verified by a valid photo ID at the time of ticket exchange (bottle pickup). Proxies picking up orders for others are allowed for this release and must be 21 or older. Proxies DO NOT NEED to be listed or named in advance, but they must present the original purchaser's Eventbrite tickets (printed or digital) when picking up orders. There is a strict limit of 5 proxy pickups per person (their own order excluded).Each ticket entitles the patron to redeem (1) one 500 mL bottle of the bottle listed on the ticket. There is a strict limit of (2) two bottles of Double Barrel Medianoche: Cognac and (1) one bottle of Coconut Symposium. One ticket = one bottle redemption, so a full allocation requires the redemption of (3) three tickets. Additional orders placed that exceed the stated limits will be canceled without notice.Tickets must be exchanged for bottles in person at WeldWerks Brewing Co. (508 8th Ave, Greeley, CO 80631) between Friday, November 19 and Sunday, November 28. Tickets (either digital or printed) must be presented in person in order to receive bottles. All unclaimed bottles remaining after the pickup window will be forfeited.
