At Pavement Coffeehouse, Delivery Drivers are essential for our day to day operations. Being punctual and reliable are essential in this role as timely delivery of bagels, food, and coffee to our stores is crucial to our mission of positively energizing people. A driver starts their day early and requires the ability to lift heavy bins and complete many repetitive movements. You will: Load, transport, and deliver products from commissary to 7 retail locations. Pack orders for delivery of cold food items with accuracy. Communicate order inaccuracies or issues to management right away. Abide by all traffic and parking laws and maintain a safe driving record. Operate delivery van, dolly, and hand forklifts. Ability to lift 50 pounds & perform repetitive movements like squatting, bending & reaching Assist with loading and unloading other deliveries as needed. You have: a valid drivers license and good driving record. Below are some of the physical demands the job will make of you. • Ability to stand and walk for longs period of time. You'll be on your feet for most of the day moving between stations & attending to the cafe • Squat, bend, and reach for items below your waist and above your shoulders. For example, you will need to bend down into a fridge to grab product, or reach above to grab cups • Ability to push/pull, lift/carry or move up to 50 pounds. For example, you'll handle gallons of milk, daily food orders, change trashes and carry dishes • Climbing stairs and ladders. You may need to use a step ladder to reach something or navigate up & down stairs to access storage areas.
