Monday Motivation Breathwork Begin your week with a motivational breathwork session at this donation based community class. This is your time to come and ground all of the stress and anxiety of the week, reset your nervous system so you can relax and recharge for the week. When you take the time to reset every week, you prevent chronic stress and you won’t have to fake it til you make it. It’s time to switch out of survival mode and start thriving. Bring the following with you for your session:Yoga matA blanket in case you get chilly while breathingEye cover/mask (optional)WaterWear comfy clothesA journalArrive with an empty stomach or at least 1 hour after having eaten a light mealMost of all, come with an open mind and no expectations!If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. You may have just started hearing the term "breathwork" but ancient breathing practices called "pranayama" have been practiced in India for thousands of years... pranayama means "breath of life" and when you can control your breath, you really do start to control your mind and your life. You may have heard of, or tried, other types of breathwork before such as alternate nostril breathing, breath of fire, yogic breath, box breathing, or what most people are familiar with - The Wim Hof Method. We use a conscious breathing pattern to shut down the negative mind, looping thoughts, and inner critic which allows us to connect with our intuition. The massive flow of oxygen floods the body and releases the trapped emotions and stagnant energy you have been holding on to in your tissues while you are listening to music and following along to guided mental imagery. When you begin to breathe consciously, unresolved emotions from the past, limiting beliefs, and negative thought patterns that drain your energy, affect your relationships, and keep you from achieving what you want in life begin to loosen their grip on you. Listen, some of this programming is running in the background and you don't even know it but please believe it is keeping you from expanding your life!
