A Divine H2O along with Divine Project Org is having our Thanksgiving Food Drive Sunday, November 28th at A Divine H2O in West Hollywood! This month's Divine Project Drive will be a very special one as we will be providing warm meals with handwritten intentions to bring holiday blessings to those experiencing hardships through this unprecedented time. We will provide gloves, sanitizers and masks to comply with CDC regulations. We want our volunteers to feel safe and secure in serving the community. Divine Project is a registered 501(c)3 that has served over 100,000 warm meals. We gather every last Sunday of the month to package foods, then drive by caravan to distribute the meals and other goods. The afternoon begins with packaging the donated foods and sorting out donated goods at A Divine H2O. We then proceed to assigned various locations throughout Los Angeles country with homeless encampments. This Thanksgiving Sunday, as a special festive touch, we will have a speaker for live music. Now more than ever, we need your help, with millions experiencing homelessness and food insecurities due to the pandemic. Here are ways you can help: * You can drop off goods at A Divine H2O in West Hollywood on Sunset Blvd or Beauty At The Bay in Redondo Beach. * You can help us package food at A Divine H2O * You can share this Event with your family and friends * You can make a donation through our website Link to Donation Page https://www.divineproject.org/donate/ (for 14 years of its existence, Divine Project has declined monetary donations. In an effort to expand our outreach to help conquer food insecurities and improve the lives of families and individuals experiencing hardships, we are now accepting your generous contributions. Any amount is helpful.) * You can help on the day-of as a security figure, singer or entertainer, content creator, or a Divine Recruiter. The use of any talent you have to help bring joy to those in need is welcome. We hope you can join us to bring hope to families and individuals. Gloves and sanitizers will be provided but please bring your masks. We will maintain sanitized surfaces and social distancing. There is parking downstairs from the stripmall you can access through the adjacent ramp. Lists of items you can donate: * money (as little as $4 provides a fully balanced warm meal, $20 for a family of 5.
