Description

We are hosting this day of action to hear from families who have been impacted by the Child Welfare System. Come join us at the State Capitol in solidarity to advocate for families that have been impacted by family separation. The event will take place on the west side of the Capitol steps on January 18th from 10:00 to 3:30. We will be traveling by plane, bus, and train. Hotel rooms and food will be provided . We will be having educational sessions where we hear from families as well as policy change makers. If you are planning on going inside the capitol you must be vaccinated. The event will take place outdoor though. Vaccination is required for outside. Masks will be available.
