A space for women to connect in the outdoors & empower one another Womeness in the wilderness is held the first Saturday of each month as a way to encourage women to enjoy the outdoors and connect with other women in the area. Details: - We will meet at Eagle Island State Park: turn left on first road after entering the park, follow the road left and park in the large dirt lot on the right. There’s a sign, bathrooms, & usually horse trailers there. (Do not go to the Main Parking area). What to bring: - Water (hydration!) - Sunglasses / Sunscreen - Wear comfortable layers in case you get warm or need to warm up - Comfortable, non-slip shoes - Snacks Any questions?
