Under the direct supervision of the Foreman position provides field support to the Landscape Maintenance Department. Responsible for company truck and trailer and always ensuring the safety of colleagues and others. Recommends changes in practices or procedures to assist in developing the company. Essential Duties: • Vehicle & Maintenance - The driver must constantly be aware of the truck and trailer. The driver is responsible for making sure the vehicles and trailers are in good conditions to go out into the field. The driver must obey all speeding limits and always maintain the safety of the colleagues/pedestrians as the priority. Driver is responsible for reporting any issue with the vehicle or trailer as noticed. • Field Work & Driver is responsible for being a part of the team and helping with maintenance service for multi-family complexes. Driver is responsible for making sure the truck and trailer are parked accordingly throughout parking lot and always being aware of the surroundings especially when moving vehicle. • Scheduled Maintenance & Driver must make sure truck and trailer maintenance is being completed at its due time and identifying/reporting any issues that arise. • Horticulture Knowledge - Must have working knowledge and identification of landscape tools, proper landscape techniques, field planning, common plants, trees, etc. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are at minimum Monday through Friday. Changes in work hours will be at sole discretion of direct supervisor. Position is based on hourly wage.
