Session 1: Morning Rituals is a reminder that morning is a wonderful time to express our creative selves. One way to tap into our creative nature is using drawing or writing journals. This class incorporates coffee, tea, and wine as painting mediums along with pencils, pens, and paints. The authenticity of the journal comes from the writer or the artist’s willingness to embark upon their journey in search of clarity in an often-chaotic life. Using prompts such as music and poetry, this class is a prefect reprieve from a hectic life as well as for those seeking inspiration for health, wellness, and active meditation. EMBRACING A CREATIVE LIFE WORKSHOPS (a series of 4 sessions) are inspiring and motivational experiences where participants can explore their creativity using art methods and materials, creative writing, memoir, storytelling, music, meditation, and mindfulness. Supportive, playful, and surprising, these workshops are taught from the point of view that people are by nature creative and that given the right tools, anyone can tap into their creative voice. Individuals from all ages are welcome to attend as well as professionals seeking creative thinking and innovation in the workplace, those who have creative blocks, or suffer from highly stressful careers. No artistic experience is necessary; in fact, the only requirement to attend is the desire to explore one's creative spirit. We are all born to be curious and creative, the real question is how to keep those qualities alive and flourishing in adulthood.
