Cupcake and Conversation is a mom only event that uses cupcake decorating to identify our current mental health strengths and weaknesses. Moms over Matter has teamed up with Heather Williams, a Licensed Professional Counselor to host the 1st Cupcakes and Conversation event. Moms will decorate their own cupcakes using edible items that best describe their mental health condition in that moment. Each icing and topping represent what they may be dealing with or have sustained. Moms will also receive a take home kit to complete the activity with their child(ren) as well. The cupcakes will elicit mental health conversations that need to be addressed so that they can parent better but ultimately take care of self.
