An evening of oysters & wine with special guest, Julie Davis, Farm Manager at Lady's Island Oysters. Join us for an oyster and wine tasting with special guest, Julie Davis, Farm Manager at Lady's Island Oyster. Julie was born & raised in Nova Scotia, Canada & her love for the oceans and all it's creatures was nurtured on the sand flats of Northumberland Strait. Julie has a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and a master's in Aquaculture from Auburn where she studied oyster farming. She has spent her career in the private sector growing queen conch, researching baby lobsters, working on a liveaboard as a scuba instructor and monitoring environmental impacts on coastal envrioments. Julie is exicted to share her passion for all things oysters with us.
