Using the power of the breath under the light of the moon, this event provides space for you to connect, reset, and restore. Description Breathwork has been used for decades by various cultures to help bring restoration, clarity of mind, and to help move energy. The practice I've learned is a process of creating a continuous circulation of the breath to create space for any movement of energy and emotions that want to happen. Our bodies are innately intelligent in taking care of themselves. Just as the body knows how to heal a cut all on its own, when we're able to get out of our busy, analytical minds, it makes room for the body to take care of itself. Contraindications Breathwork is not recommended for those with the following conditions: Angina, Cardiovascular disease, Heart attack, High blood pressure, Glaucoma, Retinal detachment, Osteoporosis, Seizure disorders, Recent injury or surgery, History of panic attacks, psychosis, or disturbances, Severe untreated mental illness, Family history of aneurysms, Frequent dizziness or vertigo, Pregnancy All participants will be required to sign a liability & medical form before attending (once this form is complete, you will not need to fill it out again in order to attend future events with Sammi) What to Bring Yoga mat, blankets, extra layers of clothing in case it gets chilly, eye mask or something to cover your eyes to help deepen the experience Facilitator Sammi is a certified PAUSE Breathwork Facilitator, Hungry for Happiness Coach, and SourceTapping® Practitioner (cousin of EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique).
