Description
Wee Macree is here! Come join this give-back collective at its debut on World Children's Day! Wee MacreeLittle kids. Big hearts. [macree: (Irish Gaelic term of endearment) mo chroí – "my heart"] Be it. Wear it. Share it. "As a mother of two totally heart-centered and empathetic girls, I know that inside every child is a powerful potential that will shine if given a chance. I founded Wee Macree with a mission to build community and raise awareness around issues impacting kids around the world. Every purchase of a Wee Macree t-shirt puts money into the hands of organizations devoted to helping children. We honor the heart in all of us, we seek friendship in one another, and strive to make every effort to show that kids caring for kids is the way forward." - Julie Tingley Let's party!Check out Wee Macree for the first time ever on Saturday, November 20th - World Children's Day* - at Butter Bug Boutique, a woman-owned small business that offers bamboo apparel, chemical-free products, award winning toys, and supports brands that give back. Most products carried in the store are created by moms all over the world. Check out the first Wee Macree campaign shirt, meeting new friends and future world-changers, snagging some 'do-good' treats, amazing local giveaways, and holiday shopping with a small local business. Please register here so we know to look for you! Wee Macree is a give-back collective with a mission to support the causes that support our kids. Every purchase of a Wee Macree shirt gives back 40% of profits directly to our selected charitable partner organizations. Meet our first campaign “wee do good” partner: TRIBE Seminole Heights. TRIBE is a 501(c)(3) community-focused nonprofit based in Tampa Bay that integrates unique learning experiences, family support, and strategic outreach with a focus on the wellness of children and families. These goals are achieved by: 1. Offering more than 50 fun and educational activities per week, each for only $5. 2. Maintaining a community closet that provides free donated clothing and shoes to children. 3. Aligning as a community partner to Seminole and Broward Elementary School, and continuously running community outreach programs. We would like to thank our event donors: Butter Bug Boutique, Glazer Children's Museum, Tampa Pirate Ship- Lost Pearl, Dairy Joy, Doublemint Sitting Services, CRU, U South Tampa, and more! *World Children's Day was first established in 1954 as Universal Children's Day and is celebrated on the 20th of November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare.
