Come share a restorative experience through yoga, meditation, and guided breathing.
Classes are held weekly on Mondays from Noon - 1pm
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center and The Christina Phipps Foundation have come together to provide cancer patients, survivors and caregivers a yoga program adapted to fit their individual needs. Come share this restorative experience with other survivors as you feel rejuvenated through yoga, meditation and guided breathing. This course is taught by an experienced yoga instructor certified by the Christina Phipps Foundation to guide cancer patients, survivors, and others with range of motion and pain limitations through a gentle and safe yoga practice.
COVID-19 Safety Precautions: Your health is our top priority. Below are the enhanced safety measures we have put in place to protect the health and safety of our participants. 1. The class is limited to only 9 participants and instructor (10 total in room). This will allow participants and instructor to maintain a 6 foot distance during the class.
2. It is recommended that all participants sanitize their hands upon entering and exiting the room. A mask may or may not be required by the instructor, please be prepared.
3. The facility will not provide equipment (Yoga mats, stretch bands, blocks, etc.).
4. All surfaces and materials are sanitized after the class is complete.
5. Participants will be asked to not attend if they are feeling unwell.
6. Pre-registration will be required for the class.
