SALEM, MA — A Wilson Street hydrant was out of order Monday morning as Salem Departments of Public Works crews responded to a water main break.
Salem DPW said the 8-inch break occurred on Wilson Street near the intersection of Laurent Road. The hydrant at 58 Wilson Street was to be out of service until repairs could be completed.
Residents in the area were told to expect the possibility of brown water while repairs were ongoing and shortly thereafter.
