HERNDON, VA — Herndon police are asking the public's help in identifying a man involved in a Nov. 6 shooting at Sully's Pour House in Old Town, according to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page. On Saturday, Herndon police released photos of a man wanted for shooting through the window of a town business in the 700 block of Elden Street on Nov. 6. Sully's Pour House, which is located at 754 Elden St., shared the photos later that same day on its Facebook page, identifying the restaurant as the business where the shooting occurred. The Facebook post said the man in the photos was one of a group of more than 10 people who came to Sully's to watch a boxing match. Restaurant staff informed the group it could not accommodate such a large party. Staff also told them the restaurant could only serve customers 21 and over after 10 p.m. The Facebook post said at least three children 12 and under were part of the group. "This person, a female, and another male began cursing out the bouncer/security and the female assaulted our manager while our manager attempted to call the police," the Sully's Facebook post said. Following this encounter, the person in the photos showed a weapon, according to the post. Staff members were able to get the man to leave the restaurant and a call was placed to the police. "The male and the female then ran on Elden Street (coming from Station Street towards Center Street) shooting a firearm into our crowded restaurant," the Facebook post said. No one in the restaurant was reported injured. HPD asks anyone who was at Sully's when the shooting occurred or who knows the identity of the man in the photos to call 703-435-6846.
