Spring equinox night hike to Wildcat Canyon Park visitors will experience a one of a kind night hike with the park's Natural Resource Coordinator, Lisa Sons as she guides them to one of the tallest canyons and waterfalls in the park-Wildcat Canyon. Discover and explore the secrets of the park's nocturnal wildlife, history, and geology through Lisa's stories, tales, and knowledge of the park. The park closes at sunset so this is truly a unique hike since it occurs at night when the trails and park are closed to visitors. Headlamps or small flashlights are required. Please park in the back portion of the main parking lot of the lodge (as soon as you enter the drive to the lodge). All hikers that register for this hike will check in with the Park Interpreter by the French Canyon Trail access located along the back portion of the parking lot at least10 minutes prior to the hike's start time. Hike will leave promptly at start time listed. Masks are required please. Please email [email protected] at least a day in advance if you will not be able to make your scheduled hike.
