Guided tour to Eagle Cliff Overlook to view Bald Eagles as part of Eagle Watch Weekend at Starved Rock State Park.
Starved Rock State Park's Natural Resource Coordinator, and birder, Lisa Sons and fellow Volunteer Park Naturalists, will guide visitors to the best locations at the park to view bald eagles that "flock to the rock" every winter. Discover fun facts about our Nation's symbol as Lisa delves into diet, habitat, anatomy, and more.
All hikers that register for this hike will check in with the Park Interpreter/Volunteer Naturalists at the front doors of the Starved Rock Visitor Center (not the lodge) 10 minutes prior to the hike's start time. Hikes will leave promptly at start time listed (8:30 or 1). Masks are required please.
Please email [email protected] at least a day in advance if you will not be able to make your scheduled hike.
