Guided winter discover tours of Starved Rock State Park. View icefalls, sandstone canyons, and even bald eagles! Join Starved Rock State Park's Natural Resource Coordinator Lisa Sons and fellow Volunteer Park Naturalists for a unique winter experience as you traverse the sandstone trails at Starved Rock to view canyons, icefalls, bald eagles, and more! All hikers that register for this hike will check in with the Park Interpreter/Volunteer Naturalists at the front doors of the Starved Rock Visitor Center (not the lodge) 10 minutes prior to the hike's start time. Hikes will leave promptly at start time listed (8:30 or 1). Masks are required please. Please email [email protected] at least a day in advance if you will not be able to make your scheduled hike.
