SUMMIT, NJ — Summit is trying to take a bit of the stress out of holiday shopping by allowing free parking for a limited time on one of the most popular shopping streets. Summit Common Council approved a request by Summit Downtown Inc. for free parking in the Bank Street lot, at 90-minute on-street spaces and on the ground level in the Tier Garage for the holidays. The free parking will be available from Dec. 11 through Dec. 26.
