Press release from the City of Littleton:
10/29/2021
The Littleton City Council voted unanimously to adopt the Unified Land Use Code (ULUC) at its regular meeting October 19. Staff are implementing the new ULUC and hope to have all new processes and procedures in place around the new year. This will be different from the previous land use codes, the ULUC is an online, easy-to-use, interactive document. While the ULUC is now in effect and available for public viewing on the city code landing page, many of the development processes are still a work in progress. These items will continue to be updated on the city website as the details are worked out. A Planner on Call is available to answer any questions at 303-795-3748 or by emailing [email protected].
The ULUC is the culmination of four years of community input and staff analysis to rewrite Littleton's land use codes which had not be holistically updated since 1976. The work began with Envision Littleton which was adopted in December, 2018, with a commitment to listen, learn, and create a plan for the next 20 years. Envision Littleton then moved to identify and adopt a Comprehensive Plan in 2019 and modernize the city's regulatory framework and transition to a ULUC. Return to full list >>
