SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests in town: On 11/09/2021 at 4:47 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old male, Jerrell Colclough of Jersey City, NJ for Exhibiting a Fraudulent Motor Vehicle Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3B]. Colclough was served his complaint summons along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On 11/10/2021 at 11:27 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 49-year-old male of North Brunswick, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ with no bail. Officers from the Newark Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Barley for transport back to their authority. On 11/11/2021 at 3:42 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the New Milford Police Department to take custody of a 59-year-old male of Fair Lawn, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail. On 11/11/2021 at 3:28 PM, in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to an incident that occurred at the Aloft Hotel located at 460 Harmon Meadow Boulevard on 05/29/2021, the police arrested Felipe Forbes, a 36-year-old male out of Scranton, PA for Sexual Assault [2C:14-2C(1)]. The victim was known to the suspect. The male was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Here is a summary of that incident: A woman said she was sexually assaulted this past May by a man she knew at a hotel in Secaucus, according to Secaucus Police. This happened at the Aloft Hotel, the new hotel that just opened in the past year by the Secaucus Walmart and behind Buffalo Wild Wings. The alleged incident happened on May 29 of this year, said police. The woman said she knew the man accused of attacking her. On the afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 11 Secaucus Police arrested Felipe Forbes, 36, of Scranton, PA and charged him with sexual assault. He was taken to the Hudson County Jail. --- On 11/12/2021 at 2:55 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay America located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a verbal dispute who then barricaded herself in the room. During the investigation, the police arrested a 43-year-old female of Lodi, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. The female was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody. Here is more info. on that incident: On November 12, Secaucus Police patrol officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the Extended Stay on Meadowlands Parkway. Upon their arrival, they approached the room and were met by a hostile woman who was throwing objects at them in the doorway. Additionally, the woman threatened to harm the officers with a knife. Officers took up tactical positions and called in SWAT. Negotiators managed to have her exit the room after being barricaded within for several hours. No injuries were reported and she was involuntarily taken for a mental health evaluation and subsequently charged with TerroristicThreats and Obstructing a Governmental Function. Her name was not published since she was an emotionally disturbed person and taken to the hospital. ---- On 11/13/21 at 3:22 a.m., Secaucus Police discovered a 44-year-old male of Scarsdale, NY stopped in a lane of traffic on the service road of Rt. 3 East. The operator was discovered to be asleep and, subsequent to investigation, arrested for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional (4) motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. On 11/14/21 at 3:27 a.m., at a DWI checkpoint Secaucus Police set up on the Rt. 3 West Service Road that leads from 495 West, a 19-year-old male from Paterson, NJ, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Gutierrezriera was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with two other motor vehicle summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. On 11/14/21 at 4:42 am, during a motor vehicle stop, a 23 year old male from North Bergen, NJ, was arrested for one outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ. He was issued (2) motor vehicle summons and was turned over to the custody of the Union City Police Department. On 11/14/21 at 3:19 a.m., at the DWI checkpoint, a 21 year old female from Newark, NJ, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. She was served her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with one other motor vehicle summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
