Description
Ginger is a 6 year old AKC English Black Labrador. She has had three litters of pups and is spayed. She came to us at the age of three knowing she kills chickens, didn't have experience with cats and jumps fences. In our experience, she can clear a 5.5ft fence, she will kill chickens with a side kick only but on her own she can car less and they hang out on the porch together, she can car less about cats and is absolutely wonderful with kids of all ages. The bad part.... She isn't house broken. She had been raised in a barn on a farm for puppies. I have not been able to break her from peeing in the house. We have put up all new fencing and made so many adaptions for her. Our flooring was just 5 years old and had to be replaced in 5 bedrooms and a living room because she goes when you are not paying attention. With 6 kids in the house I can't have this. We just replaced all the carpet in the house last month for her to already pee in the master and living room. I've done all the enzymes treatments, I've taken her to the vet, I've worked with a dog trainer. She currently resides in a large kennel in the house. We have 5 acres but she has the yippy hight pitch bark that is deafening. She can't be left outside for long. Though Ginger may not be looking for a new home, we are searching for one for her. Must have a fenced yard and no carpet. She would be ok with anyone for age/family size. She just wants love and attention. She does great on a leash and in public. This is a perfect dog for taking to street fairs. I take her to the Peewee ball field and she follows me around and just hangs out with me. She doesn't play fetch well but does have energy. She hasn't met a dog she doesn't like. We have a younger lab that she would run off with all the time. That lab is currently with my father in law for training and Ginger has stopped running away and stopped chasing chickens. It was definitely a teamwork deal. We are located in Bremerton, Washington. You will need to come to us to meet her. If you are interested please tell me a bit about yourself and why you would be a great home for Ginger. Pictures of your yard and home a plus. She comes with her crate and bag of current feed. $100 re-home fee. I absolutely love her but I can't have insanitary conditions for my kids and can't put wood floors in my house, I priced it out and it was way too much. I don't want her to end up at another house we're she will be locked up all the time and in trouble for going on the carpet. Please be ready to take her on and work with her issues.
