I have a 2001 Kia Sportage 2.0 A few weeks back while driving car acted like it would no longer accelerate. Everything was still working radio lights etc it never became harder to steer or the brakes never got harder to push. I coasted to side of road turned ignition off and now won't start. I gave checked all fuses and relays and there good. BUT weird thing is the fuel pump relay and surrounding fuses all check out good but when in car I don't hear fuel pump come on. When I take relay out and jump with wire I hear pump come on. Car still won't start but I hear pump. When I reinstall relay no pump and fuses won't light either. I don't get it. Car will not start with starter fluid either. I have cleaned all grounds but this new car crap throws me for a loop. I would have thought out of gas but I also added gas no start. After numerous attempts without a code after disconnecting battery and pulling every fuse by hand I finally got a voltage code come up? The check engine light has been on for at least two years. So that won't help, individually everything seems to work, but no spark I would guess as with gas it should start if I had spark. I'm confused frustrated and not rich some one please with Kia experience I'm in Everett and seriously need help
