UPPER BURRELL, PA — A suspect has been arrested after allegedly fatally shooting a man at Woodpecker's Pub & Grub on 7th Street Road Saturday night. Daniel Moles, 61, of Lower Burrell has been charged with homicide, according to court documents.
Moles is accused of killing Randy Jenereaux, 31, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County.
"Randy was full of life and guaranteed to make anyone around him laugh with his jokes and oh so loud singing," his mother, Angel Jenereaux wrote in a GoFundMe page created after the shooting. "That boy never hurt a soul and I am at a loss wondering why someone would hurt him."
It's unclear when Woodpecker's will reopen. The bar was closed Sunday."
"We would like to thank everyone who cooperated with us and the police last night," a post on the bar's Facebook page stated. "This was a horrible nightmare for all our customers and workers. Our hearts are broken for our co worker Randy and his family. Please pray for them."
