Foreman - Landscape In-house Crew for Black Diamond Paver Stones & Landscape. $27.00 - $30.00 per hour, plus benefits COMPANY OVERVIEW: Black Diamond Paver Stones & Landscape, Inc. is a proven leader in the home improvement industry that separates itself from the rest of the competition with a higher standard of product quality, value and customer service. We are looking for an In-house Foreman to manage and help with installation and repairs of landscaping, paver stones, and related items in the Sacramento area. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES • Hardscape tasks such as: re-grading levels, installing small paver stones projects, switching out broken or stained pavers, low voltage lighting, devising solutions for failing drainage systems, etc. • Landscape tasks such as: installing new irrigation valves or systems, fixing irrigation leaks, replacing and/or installing new plants, etc. • Evaluate existing conditions of residential hardscape / landscape installation projects, identify quality and safety problems and resolve issues accordingly. • Maintain safety program and jobsite OSHA conditions. • Train, monitor, and report on new/existing team performance and areas of improvement. REQUIREMENTS • Experience in the hardscape/landscape • Dependable and organized, with strong people skills. • Ability to work well with customers and handle issues. • A team player with a positive attitude, hard worker, and enjoys learning. • Clean driving record with valid CA driver’s license. • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is helpful, but not required. • Completion of Horticulture and/or Construction courses is a plus.
