From Seacoastonline.com:
YORK, Maine — Bob Ellis sifted through a stack of documents dating back to 2007 scattered across the table on his backyard deck.
The ping-pong sound of pickeballs being hit by rackets was unmistakable just a short distance away.
That background noise occurs year-round, seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., when the York Paddle Tennis Club, at 28 Mill Lane, is open for play, with the exception of a 9 a.m. start time on Sundays, Ellis said.
Now, Ellis is among the dozens of residents who've vocalized to the town their mounting concerns over both the addition of four pickleball courts.
