A team of therapists that make a difference. Why FSC? Family Service Center (FSC) is a growing not-for-profit community-based mental health agency that recently relocated to new offices in Northfield, Illinois. We serve clients of all ages in the surrounding communities with in-person and telehealth counseling sessions. We also serve our community through outreach and educational programs delivered to local schools, as well as to other community groups such as seniors, essential workers, and the community at large. We are developing additional skill-building and digital educational programs to support our vision of a community united in actively supporting emotional and mental wellbeing. We are looking for clinical social workers and psychologists who are searching for opportunities to help build community programs and make a difference to those we serve. Position Highlights: · Clinician · Full-time or part-time · In-person and Telehealth · Flexible schedule (some evenings and/or weekends required) What You Will Need: · Active license or license-eligible to practice in Illinois · Experience in providing outpatient mental health services to youth, adults, couples, families, and/or older adults · Strong verbal and written communication; strong collaboration skills · Preference given to candidates with CADC certification, EMDR certification, and/or strong clinical experience working with couples and families What You Will Do: · Provide telehealth and in-person counseling to a wide range of clients. · Complete risk assessments for youth referred by partner schools. · Respond to the mental health and wellness needs of our local communities through educational presentations and program development. · Collaborate with agency personnel, supervisors, and community partners on case-related issues and on program development. · Participate in agency professional development programs, professional group seminars, committees, or conferences to increase professional knowledge. · Participate in supervision and training experiences as FSC launches its clinical training program. Benefits: · Medical and Dental insurance is available for staff members working 30 hours per week or greater. · Paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays, and personal days) · Individual supervision/group consultation.
