Press release from the City of Olivette: November 15, 2021 Construction has begun on the new Olivette Community Center and Centennial Greenway in Warson Park. Please be mindful that Warson Park, the pathway, and the parking lot are active construction sites and CLOSED to traffic and pedestrians. There is no access to the sports fields and pathways. Dog walking is prohibited. Work zones involve large equipment, uneven pavement, and – most importantly – workers. The greatest risks for pedestrians on foot include falling objects, being hit by a construction device, and slips and falls. If drivers do enter a closed construction zone they can disrupt the work or injure a worker. Drivers can be ticketed or fined. If a driver injures or hurts a worker, they could face jail time. With the risks high, Olivette will strictly enforce the no trespassing ordinance and trespassers will be prosecuted (City of Olivette Code Section 215.1060).  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.  The City of Olivette's 4 other parks are available.
