Paul has been producing and co-writing with Jacqui on her first CD titled Love Love Love, a collection of eleven songs meant to inspire and to raise money that will be allocated towards scholarships for drug addicts needing rehab. “It’s funny,” says Paul, “after being together all these years I never heard Jacqui sing until she wrote a song for our daughter called Somebody’s Child, which led to this project being released on Woodward Avenue Records this summer. The single entitled Why Oh Why hit the radio in May of 2019, landing her in the top 100 on the smooth jazz chart, with nearly every other cut on the CD being played across the board on Blues, Americana, and Country stations across the world. “We are honored to be compared to Les Paul and Mary Ford by several industry friends, and we hope to live up to their legend. We will be performing together as PB&J in a city near you.” For more information visit Paulbrownjazz.com and Jacqui Brown, musician/author on Facebook. About Daveste’ Vineyards Owners Dave and Ester DeFehr in 2003 envisioned planting a vineyard and bringing the first winery to Iredell County. After locating an ideal 52-acre pastoral setting the property was purchased in 2004. The land was then manicured to enhance its natural features and four acres of vines were planted in 2005. A modern, three-level “barn” was constructed to include a small winery. we took our first harvest in 2006 and produced 500 cases of wine. We doubled production to 1000 cases with the 2007 harvest.
