Out-of-this world science and flight hands-on activities!
Welcome to the Artemis Generation! A group of 18 astronauts who will be launching a return mission to the moon was recently announced, including the first woman who will walk on the Moon in 2024. After that, it’s a race to Mars!
Here’s YOUR chance to train like NASA astronauts!
* Fly simulated jet planes and perform medical and fitness experiments.
* Get your own 2021 NASA Calendar.
* Explore fun hands-on science and engineering activities.
We’ll also look at upcoming 2021 missions exploring our Solar System and beyond: Mars Rover Perseverance (and Mars helicopter Ingenuity) and the James Webb telescope.
Science facilitators from the Nevada Space Center will lead this exploration. All activities will take place in Gallery 4 at socially-distanced tables. All participants are required to wear masks, and hands-on activities will all be pre-packaged for each family group participating.
Limited to eight family groups (because of health and safety restrictions, tickets will be sold per family group, not per person, and must be pre-booked). Tickets are required for all participants, students and guardians, and participants under 13 must be accompanied by at least one guardian per six students. Activities are targeted for 3rd through 6th grade students but fun for the whole family!
Program activities start at 9:30 a.m. and do not repeat. After activities, visit the rest of the museum at your own pace!
