Northport City Council President Jeff Hogg confirmed on Monday that Papa Murphy's Pizza will now officially open its new McFarland Boulevard location on Thursday at noon. The restaurant initially aimed for an opening earlier in November, as Patch previously reported.
The new location will be the first for the company in the Tuscaloosa area when it opens in the North Square shopping center, as it brings its take-home-to-cook style of pizzas to the north side of the river.
Papa Murphy's Pizza will also be joined soon in the same building by Great American Cookie Co. and Marble Slab Creamery.
